THE QUIETER YOU BECOME, THE MORE YOU ARE ABLE TO HEAR
— RUMI

I have selected pieces with really strong ‘nature imagery’ for this month’s playlist. The concept of portraying nature in music is something that has fascinated me since I was little. This is a theme I will definitely be coming back at some point as I found it very hard to select ~3hrs of music from my huge list of favourites!

Many of the piece’s titles are description enough, but some are a little more personal for example "Lost and Found" by Dardust makes me think of a tide rushing in as the sun rises, while "Reminiscence" by Òlafur Arnalds brings to mind many beautiful walks I shared with Graham and our two spaniels.

I would love to hear about the images these pieces bring to your mind and which are your favourites, let me know in the comments below.
